Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and threat hunting initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Generate executive-level security intelligence reports and dashboards
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ in SOC/IR roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex)
- Strong knowledge of network security and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK) and malware analysis
- Proven track record in incident response and disaster recovery
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
