Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex queries and stored procedures to support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to monitor KPIs and business performance.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods to interpret data and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to define metrics and solve technical problems.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to anticipate market trends and business scenarios.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas/NumPy).
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to think critically and solve complex business problems using data.
