Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures to protect cloud/on-premise systems
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and incident response operations
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across enterprise networks
- Develop security automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, and SIEM tools
- Maintain compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- mentor junior security analysts and document security procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat detection and mitigation
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (with AWS/Azure security specialization preferred)
- Expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for security automation
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
