As a Data Analyst at Coastal Analytics, you will bridge the gap between technical data science and business strategy, ensuring our stakeholders have the insights they need to succeed in a competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Complex Datasets: Extract, clean, and transform large volumes of data from various sources to support business reporting.
- Visualize Insights: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply advanced statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and forecasting opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and executives to translate data findings into clear, concise recommendations.
- Database Management: Optimize SQL queries and database structures to improve data retrieval speeds and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Visualization: Strong command of visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
