Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Document security procedures and create threat intelligence reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification preferred
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection
- Experience with AWS/Azure security configurations
- Strong analytical skills and threat-hunting capabilities
- Ability to work independently in remote team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
