Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and incident response
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, compliance reports)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response for security breaches including forensic analysis
- Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory requirements (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required; CCSP or CompTIA CySA+ preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate complex security incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication for technical/non-technical stakeholders
