Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures to protect enterprise systems and data
- Lead incident response investigations and mitigation strategies for cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all development lifecycle stages
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to identify emerging threats
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices to stakeholders across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Proven expertise in network security, threat detection, and incident response
- Proficiency with security tools: SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
