Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response investigations and threat hunting operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Maintain SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior team members and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain security documentation
