Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions
- Develop security documentation and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Perform forensic analysis during security breaches
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Strong analytical skills and threat intelligence experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
