Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with 24/7 SLA adherence
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection platforms
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and network architecture
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently during off-hours
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel to Columbus office quarterly
