Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security incidents and implement appropriate remediation actions.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and defense mechanisms.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including threat detection and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
