Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/implement security policies and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Analyze network traffic for anomalies using Wireshark/Zeek
- Manage IAM solutions (Okta, Azure AD) and access controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (required)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficient with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
