Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain security posture
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with incident response experience
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in threat detection and mitigation techniques
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
