Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and implement security controls for AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Create threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and NYDFS cybersecurity regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required)
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS WAF, Azure Security Center)
- Strong understanding of threat hunting methodologies
- Ability to obtain NYDFS cybersecurity clearance
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework
