Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Respond to security incidents with forensic analysis and containment procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance requirements (NIST, CIS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and Active Directory
- Experience with incident response protocols and threat intelligence platforms
