Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure (Linux/Windows Server).
- Implement and monitor network security protocols and firewalls.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal staff and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates and patches.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
