Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain local and wide-area networks, servers, and network peripherals.
- Perform system upgrades, software installation, and patch management for Windows and Linux servers.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide Level 3 technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Document network topology, configurations, and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
