Responsibilities
- Server Administration: Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues, firewall configurations, and hardware failures.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage user access controls within Active Directory.
- Cloud Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), including provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine maintenance tasks and streamline IT operations.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design and execute robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical business data.
- IT Support: Provide advanced technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding software and hardware issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022), Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Scripting: Demonstrated ability to write and debug scripts using PowerShell or Python.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
