Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect organizational data.
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and hardware upgrades for servers and workstations.
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and proactively resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the migration and management of cloud-based services and virtualization platforms.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and network diagrams.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DHCP configurations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPN technologies.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
