Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and monitor local and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server).
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect company data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff regarding hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular system backups, audits, and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure (RDS, EC2, VPC).
- Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, or Puppet preferred).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or AWS Certified SysAdmin are a plus.
