Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of servers, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- System Maintenance: Perform regular patching, updates, and maintenance to ensure system integrity and security.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Security Administration: Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive IT tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- User Support: Provide tier-2 technical support and training to internal staff regarding system usage and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Active Directory: Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD) user management and group policies.
- Virtualization: Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services is highly preferred.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or similar certifications are a plus.
