Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage virtualized server environments using VMware or Hyper-V.
- Oversee network configuration, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure data transmission.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and scaling.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues in real-time.
- Enforce IT security policies and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
