Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to protect organizational data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Automate routine system administration tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or CCNA certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
