Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource utilization
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex hardware/software issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash scripts
- Document IT infrastructure, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience with Windows Server and Linux
- Expert knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS preferred
- Experience with Active Directory, SQL Server administration, and backup solutions
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure and manage multiple priorities
