Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtualization environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security protocols
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure
- Backup/restore systems and ensure disaster recovery readiness
- Automate workflows using scripting (PowerShell/Bash)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects
- Document processes and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of system administration experience with Windows/Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
