Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network infrastructure changes and maintain accurate diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical network outages
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN implementations
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional on-site visits
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
