Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Collaborate with product teams on roadmap prioritization
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal innovation labs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in production-level backend development (Java/Python)
- Expertise in RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (K8s)
- Strong understanding of database optimization (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
