Responsibilities
- Execute software deployments and system maintenance scripts during weekend shifts to ensure zero downtime.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with the QA and DevOps teams to validate code releases before production deployment.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports accurately for the on-boarding of new team members.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions via video conferencing.
- Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a high-traffic environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during weekend shifts without supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for debugging complex systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
