Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead weekend sprint planning and stand-ups for distributed teams
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment excellence
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement security-first DevOps practices and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Debug and resolve production issues with SLA-driven urgency
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
- Strong background in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven weekend shift adaptability and self-management skills
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent cloud expertise
