Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize critical backend services and databases during off-peak hours to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Critical Patching: Execute high-priority security patches and hotfixes to mitigate vulnerabilities without impacting business operations.
- Deployment Management: Lead the deployment of weekend releases and feature branches, ensuring zero-downtime rollouts.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze system logs and metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions for high-traffic scenarios.
- Incident Response: Serve as the first line of defense for critical system outages, coordinating with the global support team for rapid resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all weekend operations and architectural changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, and experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of AWS or Azure services and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) as a core part of the schedule.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
