Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software code specifically tailored for weekend deployment cycles and maintenance windows.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that arise during peak off-peak operational hours.
- Perform rigorous code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and security.
- Ensure 24/7 system availability and data integrity across all production platforms.
- Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures for weekend maintenance.
- Implement and manage automated testing scripts to verify the stability of weekend builds.
- Act as a point of escalation for critical system failures during the weekend shift.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 operational environment or specifically on weekend shift schedules.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
