Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute critical software deployments, patches, and updates during off-peak hours.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Lead incident response efforts for weekend outages, collaborating with the on-call team during business hours.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline maintenance processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Conduct code reviews and architectural assessments for ongoing weekend projects.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports to ensure knowledge base accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development or systems engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Java, or C#).
- Experience with Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system failures and work independently during off-hours.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with the global support team.
