Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain: Design, code, and debug software applications for our enterprise platform, focusing on stability and performance.
- Weekend Operations: Execute scheduled maintenance, patches, and updates during weekend shifts to minimize business disruption.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system health and performance metrics during off-hours to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment of weekend releases.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all code changes and weekend procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Database: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
