Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our equity options trading engine.
- Monitor system health, latency, and throughput during weekend trading hours.
- Debug complex issues in high-frequency environments and deploy hotfixes rapidly.
- Optimize database queries and backend services to handle peak loads.
- Ensure strict compliance with financial data security and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the core team to integrate new trading algorithms and risk management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fintech or high-frequency trading.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Deep understanding of SQL and distributed databases.
- Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Must be willing to work rotating weekend shifts and remain on-call during critical trading windows.
