Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture for high-traffic cloud platforms
- Optimize backend systems using Java, Go, and Kubernetes
- Lead weekend deployments and incident response protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Conduct security reviews and performance tuning for production systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Weekend availability for on-call rotation (Fri-Sun)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Contributions to open-source projects highly valued
