Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for weekend deployment cycles
- Debug and resolve production issues during weekend operational windows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration testing
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) during weekend shifts
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with Java and enterprise software development
- Proficiency with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
