Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using cloud-native architectures
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for weekend deployment cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Optimize system performance and resolve production issues during weekend operations
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Document technical specifications and architecture decisions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies aligned with weekend sprint cycles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Python/Java/JavaScript
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code in weekend release cycles
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- CI/CD certification (AWS/GCP) or equivalent DevOps expertise
