Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go/Python in AWS/GCP environments
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for weekend deployment windows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SaaS platform enhancements
- Resolve complex system issues during weekend operational windows
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to 24/7 incident response rotation
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with distributed systems architecture
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Weekend availability required (Sat-Sun 6am-2pm)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Git/GitLab workflows
