Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend services using microservices architecture
- Implement robust API integrations and optimize database performance for scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for weekend system monitoring and incident response
- Drive innovation through cloud-native solutions (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with strong understanding of OOP principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and serverless technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to optimize system performance
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Previous weekend shift experience preferred
- Active security clearance or willingness to obtain if required
