Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java, Python, and Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure for 99.99% uptime
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on weekend rotations
- Debug and resolve production issues with rapid resolution SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java, Scala, Kotlin)
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Ability to thrive in collaborative weekend team environments
