Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through weekend code reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation for weekend deployments
- Resolve critical production issues during weekend rotations
- Drive DevOps best practices with Terraform and Ansible
- Contribute to open-source projects during core hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Rust
- AWS/Azure certification or equivalent expertise
- Experience with weekend shift environments
- Strong background in event-driven architecture
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio with high-impact open-source contributions
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
