Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Python on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead weekend deployments and incident response for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers through our weekend code review sessions
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid weekend feature releases
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-functional sprint planning
- Develop automated testing frameworks for weekend validation cycles
- Participate in quarterly weekend innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Weekend shift flexibility and proven night-owl productivity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with distributed systems and scalability challenges
- Active AWS/GCP certification preferred
