Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices in Python/Java
- Optimize backend systems for peak weekend traffic spikes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Resolve production incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud deployment
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
