Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement microservices architecture with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers during weekend rotations
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver seamless API integrations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline
- Resolve critical production issues with 24/7 on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices and DevOps tools
- Experience with financial systems or high-transaction applications
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Active security clearance or willingness to obtain
