Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features on sprint deadlines
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize application performance using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of production issues with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a weekend shift environment
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, production-ready code
