Responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug software solutions to meet business requirements for weekend maintenance windows.
- Perform routine system upgrades, patch management, and security patches to ensure system integrity.
- Investigate and resolve critical production incidents and technical issues with minimal downtime.
- Conduct code reviews and refactor legacy code to improve performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA team to define release criteria and deployment strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java and modern frameworks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL databases.
- Understanding of AWS or Azure cloud services and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
