Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for weekend deployment windows
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements for weekend release cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Conduct weekend on-call rotations for critical system monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers through weekend pair programming sessions
- Implement security best practices for weekend deployment workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Java and Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong problem-solving skills for weekend incident resolution
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal oversight
- Experience with Agile methodologies and weekend sprint planning
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred
