Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices and CI/CD methodologies
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve production issues
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical roadmapping
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong coding fundamentals
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in weekend shifts
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Previous experience with weekend shift work preferred
