Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-quality, scalable software applications and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups), and technical planning sessions.
- Write clear, concise, and well-documented technical documentation and user stories.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on remote or distributed collaboration.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
