Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for our core enterprise platforms.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues during off-peak hours to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with remote day-shift engineers to ensure seamless deployment and integration of updates.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and unit testing to uphold our high standards of excellence.
- Monitor system performance metrics and implement automated scripts to optimize efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support during the night cycle.
- Document technical processes and contribute to the technical knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++; JavaScript/React experience is a significant plus.
- Deep understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-manage effectively during night shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
